“You Can Do It!” is a game for children and a resource for parents on how to teach their children to overcome a variety of life situations. Every parent wants their child to be courageous, self-confident, and unafraid of challenges, yet also cautious and knowledgeable about how to handle any given situation—the game “You Can Do It!” will help.
Play is the dominant activity for children, so play is a natural and understandable way for a child to learn. With “You Can Do It!” you can learn how to behave when meeting a stranger, getting lost or stuck in an elevator, cutting yourself or choking, being attacked by a dog, or encountering a wasp. All this is done in a playful, quiz-like format. You and your child can discuss, choosing the correct answers, how to safely handle each situation. You don’t have to think of anything; everything has been done for you. All the correct answers have already been prepared and highlighted in separate hints for parents. Play, learn – you can do it!
The game features 65 cards describing different life situations, each with three possible answers, though there may be more than one correct answer. Take turns drawing cards, read out the answers, choose the correct one, check the answer against the hints, and if the answer is correct, the answerer takes the card. At the end, count the number of cards each player has; the one with the most wins.
